Karinia Elliott a native of Norfolk, Va. is the owner of Truly Blessed Learning Center in Chesapeake, Virginia, and Truly Blessed Daycare in Norfolk, VA. She has owned her own childcare business for over 16 years starting in her home in Portsmouth, VA, then moving into her own building. She has a second building in Norfolk, VA called Truly Blessed Daycare.
She has a passion for children and families, which is what her learning center and daycare are founded upon. Because of her upbringing and missing the support that she needed as a youth, she has dedicated her time and energy to mentoring young ladies through organizations such as HRCO and the RPAD center in Portsmouth VA. Karinia also coached the girl’s volleyball team at W.E. Waters middle and has done so for over 7 years. She is very passionate about seeing our youth progress and she wants to encourage them to know that they can do anything they set their minds to and it’s important to her that they know that they have her support and can confide in her.
She plans to open a third childcare center and she desires to help single parents with their childcare needs. Through her childcare centers, she desires to offer not only quality childcare but outreach to helping families and the communities.
Karinia wants to take all of her experience over the years and help equip new and existing daycare owners to not only be successful but truly make an impact.
